Rundown loos in two Norwich parks are to be replaced with inclusive toilet blocks.
The Grade II-listed toilets in Wensum Park and Heigham Park, which are almost 100 years old, are to be demolished and replaced with self-contained cubicles that can be used by all genders.
According to plans submitted by Norwich City Council only part of the toilets would be demolished with the new cubicles fitting into the existing historic structures.

Planners say the new toilets will be safer as the current blocks do not prevent "tailgating" where a user can be followed in and cornered with no means of escape.

The Wensum Park loos are not accessible to the disabled as they lack level access, with the city council claiming the toilets need to be replaced as they are "not consistent with the council's expectations on its delivery of services".

New toilets in Heigham Park and Wensum Park will include five separate self-contained cubicles, with one for the disabled and baby changing and an external lobby area.
All sinks will be inside the cubicles.
It is hoped a decision on the toilets will be made by Wednesday, October 11.
