A city pub is to host an event that mixes classical music with cask ales.
The Brewery Tap's 'Proms in the Pub' is planned for Sunday, September 10, at the award-winning local in Lawson Road.
Music will be provided by the Cawston Brass Band, a critically-acclaimed music group that was originally formed in 1886.
They will perform a range of songs from classical masterpieces like Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory, to singalong anthems such as Delilah and Sweet Caroline.
Nina Bullock, of the Brewery Tap, said: "It's a live musical experience like no other.

"Where else can you celebrate the end of the proms season with a massive symbol-clashing, full brass band set while enjoying a pint in the pub?
"It's a great opportunity for everyone to get dressed up, wave a flag and have a sing-along."
The event, which starts at 3pm, is free to enter and Motherchip - the pub's resident street food business - will be serving up loaded fries and burgers.
