A beloved community fish and chip shop is closing after 15 years of trading.
Massingham's Fish and Chips, in St Leonard's Road in Thorpe Hamlet, has a notice on its door announcing that it will be closing on Monday (August 28) due to retirement.
The notice thanked its customers for their support over the last 15 years and listed an emergency number in case people needed to get in touch.

The notice was met with an outpouring of support on social media, with one commenter saying it was "such a loss".
Another said: "This is so sad. I hope they have a very happy retirement."
Rumours have circulated that another owner will step in to take over but this has not been confirmed.
Massingham's Fish and Chips declined to comment.
