A historic city venue has announced two new seasonal afternoon teas.
Mark Mitson, head of pastry at The Assembly House in Theatre Street, has put together two new menus ahead of the autumn and winter months.
The first is the Autumn Hedgerow Afternoon Tea which will be available from September 18 until October 15.
Inspired by the changing of the seasons, the menu will include a Last of the Summer Raspberries macaron, a Falling Leaves cupcake, and a Basil the Fox shortbread crunch.

Autumnal alcoholic drinks are available to purchase alongside the menu, such as Bramble Bellinis and rum-infused Pumpkin Spices Lattes.
The Assembly House will also be introducing an afternoon tea menu inspired by The Nutcracker for the festive season.

The tea will be presented on the menu in four acts, each representing a tier on the stand.
Act one is a variety of finger sandwiches, the second act is a savoury tier, including a Norfolk turkey, stuffing and cranberry roll, and act three is sweet and savoury scones.

The final act features a layer of cakes made by Mr Mitson and in-house chocolatier Julia Hetherton.
The themed menu was a big success last year but has been updated to include a shot glass dessert, a ballerina cake, and a new macaron.
Served from November 1 until January 8, bookings can be made for either the restaurant or for one of The Assembly House's igloos.
Both afternoon teas cost £29.50 per person or £18 for under-12s in the restaurant.
The Nutcracker Afternoon Tea can be booked inside the igloos for £45 per person, or £28 per child.
