Norwich rapper Creepzz new album against knife crime

Having been locked up at 15, Shane, now more commonly referred to by his stage name Creepzz, knows what it's like to live a life of crime - being sent down for robbery and attacking someone with a weapon.

However, the 27-year-old, who moved to Lowestoft after living in supported accommodation in Norwich, is using his musical talent to try and help the next generation avoid the same mistakes he made.

The murders of 18-year-olds Joe Dix in Mile Cross and Wymondham's Raymond James Quigley in Ipswich have been one of the driving forces behind Creepzz's music.

His latest album 'Stugglaz Ambition Aftermath' has beats which involve staying away from crime and stopping violence.

Creepzz, whose YouTube channel showcasing his work has more than 18 million total views, believes that there is still a substantial problem with knife crime in both Norwich and Norfolk, saying: "My message both personally and in my music is that it's still not acceptable.

"These people who still carry knives need to fix up and stay away.

"You shouldn't be allowed to live on the streets if you're capable of committing these horrible acts.

"Nobody deserves to die, especially from knife crime."

Hans Beeharry, Benjamin Gil and Cameron Palmer, all 19, were found guilty of murdering Joe Dix last month.

Creepzz added: "I'm glad Joe's family are getting justice for their son, even though nothing will bring him back.

"I just hope they can find peace from all of this."
