A new foodie haven opening on the outskirts of the city had to change its opening dates due to a delay with signage.

However, in the last few days signs have begun to be erected outside the shop which means the anticipation for their “highly addicted” treats can once again resume.

Thick Shake Lab in 2 Sprowston Road was previously home to Shake Shack, so customers are used to being able to get shakes and desserts in the area.

Originally the new store was set to open at the end of July but various delays have meant the store still hasn’t opened.

With some 20 flavours of gelato available to choose from there will be something for everyone.

The owner of the new store said: “They delay was caused by a wait for signage and commercial machines to be delivered.
