Photos have revealed the damage caused by a huge fire that ripped through a flat above a parade of shops in Norwich.
Emergency services remain at the scene of the blaze above the Colman Road shops this morning.
Police and fire crews were called to the fire at around 9pm last night (September 7).
At the height of the blaze, 11 fire crews were at the scene and police closed the road.
A witness said that fire crews used a platform to tackle the blaze from above.
The residents were evacuated from the building while the crews worked, but could return to their homes at around midnight, according to a tweet from Norfolk Police.

Water was running across the pavement from the shops as the remaining fire crew continued working on the blaze this morning.
Smoke could be seen coming out of the roof and the smashed windows around the side of the property.
Police remain in the area this morning but Colman Road has now reopened.
