Plans for new buildings at Norwich Research Park have been announced as part of a massive revamp of the site.
Bosses at the Colney Lane research park have already knocked down old garages and office space in order to build new offices and laboratories.
The project follows the site being awarded £163.9m worth of investment over five years from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).
The BBSRC funding aims to cement the region's position as a world leader in life science research and innovation and help the site, which is currently home to 40 companies, achieve its aim of housing 300 companies within 15 years.
As well as new buildings, the science centre hopes to add car parking, infrastructure, internal access roads, landscaping and cycle parking.
Work in 2014 saw the centre demolish its Institute of Food Research building to make way for the new development.
Those wishing to comment have until October 3, while the council hopes to make a decision by Christmas Day.
