The newly-appointed manager of a hotel, spa and golf resort on the outskirts of Norwich has big plans in the pipeline.
Dunston Hall, part of The QHotels Collection, has 166 bedrooms, a health club with a swimming pool and spa, a brasserie-style restaurant and bar, an 18-hole golf course and spaces for weddings and other events.
Dean Saunders, who lives in Great Yarmouth, has just been appointed the general manager and he has 33 years of experience in hospitality and leisure.

He said: "My ambition is to get people talking about Dunston Hall as a great destination within East Anglia.
"All the foundations are here for this incredible hotel, with a bit of hard work and focus."
Mr Saunders, who started his career as a teenage lifeguard at Gunton Hall in Lowestoft, wants to bring in more local suppliers and work closer with the community.

He added: "I plan to reengage with local networks, including associations, charities and schools, ensuring Dunston Hall is placed back in the forefront for potential visitors and guests.”
There are also plans to invest in refurbishments across the hotel, including bedrooms, event and conference spaces.
This involves modernising facilities and improving digital media options.
