The team behind one of Norwich's best-loved Indian restaurants is spicing things up with a new street food venture.
Sheikh Ashraf Ali, Sheikh Affsor Ali, Sheikh Sunwar Ali and Nishant Murria are all business partners in The Merchants of Spice, which opened along Colegate in 2012.
A second Merchants of Spice restaurant launched in 2017 in Thorpe St Andrew along Yarmouth Road.

The business partners are now opening a third Indian restaurant, which is called Bombai and will serve tapas-style street food dishes.
It is in the former home of The Bengal Spice at 38-40 St Benedicts Street, which shut earlier this year, and it has undergone a huge refurbishment.
Mr Murria said: "There is nothing like this in Norfolk and it will be very authentic as we have three chefs that have just arrived from India.

"This has been my dream for five years and we have taken inspiration from Dishoom in London."
The menu is separated into small plates, tandoori street plates with marinated meats, roadside curries, nibbles, side dishes and rice and bread, with alcohol available.
Bombai is set to open in Norwich by the end of September.
