A crêpe seller in the Norwich Lanes is in the running to win a prestigious award.

Christophe’s Crêpes has been nominated for a prize at the Wedding Industry Awards 2023 after serving its treats at weddings across the region since 2011.

The firm is run by Chris Smith and his wife Lauren and started as a street food van in Davey Street.

Wedding catering has been a central goal for the business and wedding parties of up to 250 people have enjoyed Christophe’s Crêpes in the past.

Most opt to enjoy their crêpes as a sweet treat during the reception but they have also been dished up as a wedding breakfast dessert in the past.

"It sounds cheesy but when someone says 'we're getting married and we'd like you to be a part of our special day' it means a lot,” Mr Smith said.
