Plans that would see a former sex shop converted into a new retail space and apartment have been submitted to the city council.
The building at 39 St Augustine's Street has been vacant since the Private Shop closed down in 2022.
London-based firm REH Builders is seeking permission to convert the ground floor of the site into a new retail or office space.
The plans would also see the existing living accommodation on the first and second floor - which has also been empty since last year - into one independent apartment.

No information has yet been released regarding what sort of business would move into the building, but application documents state the proposals would represent an "improvement in amenity in the area".
The building comprises of four floors including a basement and shop, an office, a rear room, and a toilet on the ground floor.
The first floor features a landing, two rooms, and a bathroom - while the second consists of a landing and three rooms.
The property lies within the Norwich City Centre conservation area but it is not listed.
