Commuters driving down St Stephens Road found navigating it a little trickier than usual after a vehicle got its rear-end stuck in the air.
The owner of the car, a silver Ford Fusion, had to ditch the vehicle in the middle of the road, near the roundabout, after the vehicle's rear axle seemingly broke, before police arrived to help with the flow of traffic.
People finishing up a busy day at work were greeted with the peculiar sight on their way out of the city on Monday evening (October 2).

Passers-by couldn't help but snap pictures of the bizarre incident while it took around an hour to get the car removed.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a broken down vehicle in St Stephens Road yesterday (Monday) at 5.13pm.

"Officers attended to assist with traffic management, while private recovery of the vehicle was arranged.
"The road was cleared shortly before 6pm."
In July, a similar incident happened when a Renault Scenic got stuck outside the entrance to Morrisons in Riverside.
