Two Norfolk restaurants have made it to the final of the "Oscars" of the curry industry.
Those in with a chance of winning big at the annual Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards are Shimlas in Attleborough and Kairali South Indian in Poringland.
Kairali South Indian is in the running to be crowned the top regional takeaway in East Anglia, going up against Eastern Spice in Ipswich and Lime Takeaway in Bury St Edmunds.

The Poringland-based business serves Keralan cuisine designed to evoke "childhood memories" with an emphasis on "traditional delicacies and authentic flavours".
Shimlas in Attleborough is one of the finalists for Newcomer of the Year, beating entrants across the UK and being recognised as one to watch on the Asian food scene.
The awards have been described as the "Oscars" of the curry industry by the BBC and the final shortlist is decided through a public vote.
After the regional winners are chosen, they will be challenged to a cook-off where one final Champion of Champions will be announced.
