The eagerly-awaited Christmas shop at a city suburb garden centre has officially opened and this year they have once again gone bigger and better.
Sprowston Garden Centre in Blue Boar Lane has become very popular around Christmas time with many fans of the festive season waiting for the unveiling of their display year on year.
General manager Paul Marlow said: “Many people will say it’s too early.
“But there are only nine weeks until the beginning of December so it gives our customers enough time to gain some inspiration for a theme, they may wish to run with in their homes this year.”

READ MORE:But the centre has become known for the interactive parts of their display, each year featuring a spectacle such as Santa’s workshop or singing reindeer.
And this year is no different, as well as singing reindeer and a gingerbread house, people of all ages will also be able to fulfill their dreams of being Elsa from hit film Frozen and living in an ice castle as the centre introduces their newest photo opportunity.
Paul said: “This year's newest addition is a winter castle which we have lit with black light and decorated with two thrones creating a photo spot we hope will be used by all ages.”
This year's launch was no different – having opened up at the weekend the garden centre saw a record number of people come through to be among the first to see the 2023 installation.

The Christmas display is now open daily.
