A man whose car was damaged by a truck in a hit-and-run near Norwich is appealing for a driver who witnessed the crash on the NDR to come forward.
It was a normal Monday morning for Krystian Nawrocki, who was driving from Great Yarmouth to Thorpe St Andrew for the start of another working week in his Nissan Juke.
But there was a shocking turn of events as he made his way to the NDR roundabout from Rackheath, along the Salhouse Road, at 8.45am.
Krystian said: “I was driving through Salhouse for work and waited in the middle lane, towards Norwich.
“There was a truck in the right-hand lane. When we were both on the roundabout he came into my lane and hit my car.

“My car was caught and so it was being pulled towards his truck which punctured my front wheel and damaged the side of my car.”
Krystian said he was honking his horn heavily to alert the driver to pull over, but they just drove off and exited the roundabout at the following exit.
It all happened so fast that Krystian was unable to get the registration of the truck which he said looked like a builder's vehicle.

However, there was a female driver in the car behind him as the crash happened and Krystian is hopeful of making contact with her to see if she got any information.
He said: “I did call the police, but because I wasn’t blocking the road and had no details, it is something I need to take up with my insurance company.”
Krystian is hopeful that the other driver on the roundabout will have the details of the truck so that he can claim the money for extensive damage to his car.
