A city garden centre is to see a new shop open in its grounds after plans were given the green light.
Notcutts, in Daniels Road, will see a new carpet and flooring shop open in the building previously occupied by an upholstering firm after it was granted planning permission.
Norfolk Upholstery moved to a new site in the Europa Way Industrial Estate near County Hall in December and the premises currently sits empty, leaving Notcutts to allow it to be used by a separate flooring company.

Despite a successful change of use application, the retailer will still be able to sell garden equipment and food products in the building.
The building will also be able to house a workshop.
But when approving the application, Norwich City Council said the building must not be used for any other purpose than those outlined in the initial application.
