Mr Lee said of the ride, which was due to start on October 12, : “It’s going to be all day, all hours cycling, just me and my bike and my tent.
"I’m going from Greece, across Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and then across on the boat to Italy to finish off in Rome.
“I’ll need to source my campsites and things like that along the way.”
Mr Lee runs an ice cream business in a converted horse box called the Feel Good Ice Cream Co, which can usually be found outside the Red Lion pub at Bishopsgate in Norwich.

He said the charity would aim to be a local version of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which would help individuals and groups.
Mr Lee said: “I want to be able to give people facing inequalities the chance to do something they might not necessarily get anywhere else.
“I’ve been volunteering for a lot of years. My passion is in exercise and adventure activities, so I wanted to set up my own charity.
“If I can help in some way that has a life-changing impact for one person or a small group of people once a year, then it will be doing its job.”
Mr Lee will be posting about his journey on his Instagram page at @feelgood_icecreamco.
