The owner of a small but perfectly formed coffee shop in Norwich has been shortlisted to be named the UK's 'barista hero'.
La Marzocco, which specialises in espresso machines and grinders, has brought back its Barista Hero Award for 2023.
It was first launched during the Covid pandemic in 2021 to celebrate people who "create a community within the walls of their coffee shop".
Mark Lawrence of Fika in Wensum Street is one of the eight baristas shortlisted for the award, with the winner announced on November 18 at the Manchester Coffee Festival.
