A boy has been released on bail following a stabbing at a city school.
Police were called to the City of Norwich School in Eaton Road at 2.15pm on Thursday after reports that a boy had been stabbed with a tail comb.
Officers attended along with three crews from the East of England Ambulance Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance
The boy was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with a stab wound.
A boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
He has now been released on bail until January 6, 2024.
Superintendent Wes Hornigold said: ‘We will be investigating the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
"The victim’s injuries are not believed to be serious and he is expected to be released from hospital later this evening following treatment."
