The mum of a teenage stabbing victim is taking action to try and prevent similar heartbreak for other families to mark the nine-month anniversary of his death.
Margaret Oakes received the devastating news that her 18-year-old son Raymond James Quigley, from Wymondham, had been stabbed in broad daylight in Ipswich on January 17.
Mrs Oakes has vowed to help put in measures which could save someone's life in the future with the introduction of bleed control kits, which were tragically not available for her son.
With the help of the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (Nars) and Lynne Baird, who was the first to campaign for the kits, one will be put behind the bar of the Robert Kett pub in Wymondham on Saturday, October 21.

Mrs Oakes, 52, said: "My son spent a lot of time at that pub and knew one of the people who worked in there well, so I wanted the first kit to go there.
"The nine-month anniversary of my son's death is October 17, so I wanted to do something at the weekend so family could also come along."
A GoFundMe was set up to help afford more control kits and cabinets to put in and around the city in the future.

Mrs Oakes added that working towards this goal also helps keep her son's name alive, who was known as James to friends and family.
"This has helped me get out of bed in the morning because before, I had no hope," she said.
"I can do this for him and keep his name alive in this world.
"While I'm still absolutely devastated about why I'm doing this, it's in his name that someone's life could be saved with this control kit.
"He'd always help people so I feel like this is what he would do and hopefully be proud that we're doing this in his memory."
Awaiting trial
A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded that Raymond James Quigley sustained four stab wounds to the torso and died as a result of these injuries.
Two Suffolk 18-year-olds were arrested in connection with the attack - which happened at 3.35pm in Westgate Street, Ipswich on Saturday, January 21 - and were taken into police custody for questioning.
Alfie Hammett, of Larkhill Rise, Rushmere St Andrew and Joshua Howell, of Wellington Street, Ipswich were charged with murder two days later.

They remain on remand in youth detention awaiting trial, which is set to commence on December 11, 2023.
But on June 20 police also arrested an 18-year-old man from Norwich and a 16-year-old boy from the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire on suspicion of murder.
They were both taken into police custody for questioning and released on bail pending further enquiries.
