Plans to demolish century-old loos and replace them with inclusive stalls have been given the go-ahead after initial delays.
A toilet block in Wensum Park, which is almost 100 years old, will be partially demolished and replaced with self-contained cubicles that all genders can use.
After initial delays due to complications with a revamp of nearby toilets in Heigham Park, the plans for Wensum Park have now been approved by Norwich City Council.
The application states the toilets will be "refurbished, altered and partially demolished".

Concerns were raised about vandalism in the loos, whether they would be fully accessible while work takes place and whether CCTV would be installed in the area.
In a decision notice, city council planning officers stated that work must begin before the expiration date of three years, from the date of permission (October 16).
The decision statement said: "The proposed refurbishment, alteration and partial demolition of the toilet block at the Grade II registered park and garden Wensum Park will ensure the continued use of the building and the less than substantial harm is outweighed by this."
