A chef who took on a historic Norwich coffee house two years ago has diversified the business to bring in more customers.
Richard Ellis has been at the helm of the Britons Arms, perched at the top of Elm Hill, since November 2021.
It was previously run by sisters Gilly Mixer and Sue Skipper, who were there for 40 years before retiring.

While Mr Ellis has continued to offer items such as sandwiches, quiches, cakes and scones, with a popular pre-bookable afternoon tea, he has also put his own stamp on the 14th-century building.
Every Thursday to Saturday from 6pm to 9pm, a dinner menu is available with a range of starters, mains and desserts, with a focus on traditional British food, alongside small plates.

He also holds regular themed tasting menu nights, ranging from vegan to game meat, and Sunday roasts are served weekly from 12noon to 3.30pm.
Mr Ellis said: "The dinner menu changes every week depending on what we can get locally and what is in season.
"We have had people who were die-hard daytime regulars who now come in the evenings too.
Britons Arms is open 9am-5.30pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am-9pm Thursday to Saturday and 9am-3.30pm on Sundays.
