Two local businesses are collaborating to bring a new Thai menu to a city pub.

The Gordon in Thorpe St Andrew will be serving food for the first time as Jaa Fisher takes on a new kitchen residency.

Ms Fisher is the owner of the Thorpe Ferry Cafe and has taken on the new venture while her own restaurant is closed for the winter.

She said: "I've never worked in a pub before and it's going to be a big challenge.

"I'm really looking forward to working together and welcoming the community."
