A city restaurant has been hailed as one of the friendliest in the country by a prestigious food guide.
Benedicts in Norwich has been featured in The Good Food Guide for its 'exceptional warmth' and welcoming atmosphere.
Chef Richard Bainbridge opened the restaurant in St Benedicts Street with his wife Katja in June 2015.
The restaurant has since been named in The Michelin Guide 2023 and has three AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
The Good Food Guide says: "Applause for Benedicts rings out far beyond Norwich, such is the delicious creativity of the menus and the genuine happiness of the service delivered at Richard and Katja Bainbridge’s city centre bistro.
"Personal memory and shared nostalgia ripple through dishes but there’s no wallowing in sentiment - the cooking is bright and contemporary, colourful and fun."

The review describes the prawn cocktail tartlet as tasting as though it were "made by fairies" and also praises the bouillabaisse and duck dishes.
Benedicts is rated 'very good' overall and is listed alongside 14 other restaurants with 'exceptional' warmth in The Good Food Guide.
