The people of Norwich have been given a sneak preview of the new electric buses which will start to hit the city's streets from next week.
Five of the new fleet of 70 buses will come into use on Monday, October 30, two of which were parked up outside The Forum on Tuesday.
There are 11 single-decker and 59 double-decker electric buses on the way, which will save more than 60 tonnes of tailpipe emissions each year.
First Bus has invested £22.5m into the new fleet, while Norfolk County Council secured a further £14.7m from the government's Zero Emission Bus Regional Area scheme.

Among those taking a look at the new buses was Graham Plant, cabinet member for highways, infrastructure and transport at County Hall.
He said: "This is the first stage of changing all the buses in Norwich and we will be the first outside of London to have an all-electric bus depot."
Work started to convert First's Roundtree Way depot in July, which will make it one of just three of its kind in the country outside of London.
