The boss of a new coffee shop is hoping the revamped venue will prove to be much more relaxing than it was under its previous management.
The former gospel house in Dereham Road was home to a rage room until recently but has been taken over by the owner of the shop next door, who hopes to attract a new kind of clientele with a bevvy of fresh food and authentic Albanian pastries.
Edi Gashi, who has owned Eagle Mini Mart and Off Licence for the last three years, recently bought the neighbouring building and is turning it into Eagle's Coffee Bar.
Mr Gashi said: "We've been working on the place now for around five months and invested about £7,500 to £8,000 in it so far.

"We'll be selling a range of food and drink - so teas and coffees - as well as freshly made sandwiches and cakes.
"I also want to include some food from where I'm from, Albania, so there will also be pastries available like baklava and shendetlie.
"The sandwiches will be freshly made as well and can be served hot or cold depending on what the customer wants."
The former occupant of the building, Rage Rooms Norwich, opened in 2019 but recently moved to Technology House in Roundtree Way, Sprowston.
Mr Gashi added that he hopes the new venue "will be a nice relaxing place" for people.

"I'm going to add sofas all around and we've already installed some warm lighting so that it really provides a cozy, quiet aesthetic," he said.
"Once the furniture arrives it will really start to come together.
"I'm not sure about a date yet but hoping to get it open as soon as possible."
Mr Gashi has also applied for an alcohol licence so he can serve alcoholic drinks to customers in the future.
