There were hour-long delays and two miles of congestion on the A47 after a two-car crash this afternoon.
The incident happened around 2.15pm on the A47 eastbound at the A140 Ipswich Road junction, just south of Norwich.
The road was closed eastbound between the A140 and the A11 and people reported being stuck in traffic for more than an hour.

An air ambulance, police and fire crews from Carrow, Earlham, Sprowston and Hethersett attended the incident.
Drivers were diverted at Thickthorn roundabout and on to the A11 towards Norwich before taking the third exit at the A140 roundabout.
Bus services were also affected with severe delays from Norwich heading to Long Stratton, Mulbarton, Wymondham and Hethersett.
All lanes have since reopened.
