The owner of a popular burger joint is opening a new spot which he hopes will be a go-to foodie destination.

Adem Lacin and his father Murteza Lacin own Love Thy Burger in Aylsham Road and are set to expand their offering as the doors to their new Italian pizza shop open to the public.

Adem said they chose to expand the venture because his family has a long history of making delicious pizza and, being part Italian, he wanted to share his passion with Norwich.

He said: “We only opened Love Thy Burger a year ago, but it has been fantastic, and we have had some amazing feedback.

“So, when the property next door became available, we knew we wanted to take on the challenge of opening Vitto's Pizza.”

And he hopes his pizza selection will be just as popular as his burger selection has been with mouth-watering options including margarita, pepperoni and even Biscoff on his menu.

But as well as offering classic and unusual options, the owners are sure that their pizza is going to be popular.

Adem said: “Our dough is made fresh every day and it’s all hand-stretched.

“The ingredients are locally sourced and the sauces will all be made in-house so it really is an independent family business which we think people will enjoy.”

Now with two shops, the family do not see themselves opening any more and they want to focus on offering the best service they can.

Adem added: “We know money is tight and it means people are more reluctant to try something new, but people who try our food come back again and again, so we think it's definitely worth trying.”
