CCTV captured the moment two women narrowly avoided potentially devastating injuries when a car crashed into a salon just inches from where they were sitting.
The shopfront of Beauty Lounge Amelie, in Constitution Hill, was damaged when two cars collided at the traffic lights for North Walsham Road, near The Woodman pub.
One car was shunted into the side of the business as a customer was having her nails done, giving the pair a nasty shock as a black Ford smashed into the wall below the shop's main window.
Those inside say the sturdy wall may have saved their lives last Friday.

Jo Crickmore, seen in the video working with one of her clients, said: "The white car turned the corner and hit the black car.
"We heard the collision first before the black car came crashing into the side of the building.
"My client and I were caught by surprise - my heart was pounding and I didn't know what had happened at first.
"If someone was walking along the path or coming into the salon, they wouldn't be here now.
"My daughter, who's 36 weeks pregnant, left just before it happened.
"The wall saved me and my client's life - it was miraculous."
Police were called to the scene to clear the wreckage.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a two-vehicle collision at the junction between North Walsham Road and George Hill on Friday, November 10 at 2.10pm.
"There were no reports of any injuries and recovery of the vehicles was completed by 3.45pm.
"Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 235 of November 10, 2023."

Gigi Stonkiene has owned the business for the last two and a half years.
Ms Stonkiene has been "struggling to sleep" after the incident, adding: "I can't stop thinking about what happened.
"My client came in about four or five minutes before it happened - it was a miracle no one was hurt.
"We heard this terrible sound and rushed out to see what happened.
"The wall is ok but the front door is jammed shut."
