From a new Mexican fast-food joint to the closure of an award-winning restaurant, here are all the changes happening in Norwich city centre in December 2023.
1. Tortilla
will be opening in White Lion Street on December 9.
Mexican fast-food chain TortillaThe restaurant will be opening in the former home of Greggs which has been vacant since December 2022.
The company launched in 2007 and has more than 80 restaurants across the UK, with its closest branch currently in Cambridge.
2. Engino
Educational toy brand Engino is hoping to open its store, exhibition space and cafe in Castle Quarter in December.
The business is set to move into the former Pure Electric store and branding is starting to appear on the vacant shop.
A spokesman for Engino said: "We are happy to announce that our Engino STEM Exploration Centre is due to open officially in the next few weeks.
"We will announce the official opening day soon."

3. Woolf & Social
Award-winning restaurant Woolf and Social will close at the end of December.
Located off Dereham Road, the venue was opened by friends Francis Woolf and Felix Rehberg in 2015 and it has received widespread acclaim.
The main reason for the closure was for Mr Woolf to spend more time with his family and to focus on other projects.
The pair said to "expect more from Woolf & Social in other forms" in the future.
4. Jorge's Tasca
Brunch and tapas bar Jorge's Tasca will be closing on December 23.
The Portuguese eatery was originally called Go Bifanas and is based in Orford Yard, off Red Lion Street.
The venue is next door to Jorge's Restaurant, which serves steaks, seafood, tapas and more.
The owners are looking to focus more on the restaurant and to spend more time with family.
5. Bier Draak
Bier Draak will be opening at 42 King Street in December.
The bar is owned by Toby Westgarth and Dominic Burke of Sir Toby's Beers on Norwich Market and will serve German and Belgian beers with cold meats and cheeses.
The duo are installing 10 draught beer lines and are hoping to offer "historic beer styles" that are harder to come by.
An exact opening date has not been confirmed.
