Attempts to solve parking issues in a road on the outskirts of the city will see more restrictions put in place.
Drivers parking in Wroxham Road, Sprowston to access a parade of shops, that includes a Tesco Express and a fish and chip shop, have regularly frustrated those living in the area - leaving some struggling to get in and out of their driveways.
There are parking spaces for around 20 cars outside the shops but competition for those spaces is fierce on a regular basis.

At times this can cause congestion but traffic flow is largely unaffected due to the wide road, with parking outside homes the main point of contention.
Calls were made for double yellow lines initially to deter the problem parkers but white lines were painted at the ends of driveways and businesses earlier this year.

However, the lines have had minimal effect and those living nearby say the problems have just moved to the other side of the road.
Sprowston Town Council chairman, Bill Couzens, said: “The town council have supported by putting in white H longs along the road.
“Now it is with Norfolk County Council to decide what to do.”

The issues were discussed at a town council meeting earlier this year when it was also raised that large lorries delivering to Tesco had also been a problem.
The possibility of reducing the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph was also said to have been dismissed due to the road being a feeder for the NDR.
The county council has confirmed H bars funded by the town council will be installed on the opposite side of Wroxham Road as well, with a works order lodged with Tarmac.
A county council spokeswoman said: “H bar road markings are not enforceable but are there for advisory purposes to encourage courteous parking.”
