Takeaway cordoned off as firefighters deal with 'dangerous structure'

Some of the roof at the Olive Tree takeaway on Prince of Wales Road had fallen off prompting police to call Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to make the "dangerous structure" safe.

Firefighters were called to a dangerous structure in Norwich (Image: Peter Walsh, Newsquest)Crew manager Andy Moore from Earlham Fire Station, who was the incident commander, said they were called by police to attend the incident due to "structural concerns about the roof".

He said they used the aerial ladder platform to get up to the roof and "remove any loose fascia from the building".
