Folk living in a city centre neighbourhood are at the end of their tether after their communal bin areas were left to pile high for almost a month.
People living in Wherry Road, in Riverside, have slammed Norwich City Council for leaving bags full of rubbish to stack up for three weeks.
With around 20 bags piled up outside flat blocks and in communal areas, those living in the area say it feels like "living in a third-world country".

Martin Wakenell said: "Our bins have been missed by the council since November 22.
"We pay council tax and expect a service but we're not getting it.
"Some people took it upon themselves to clean up the spaces but they shouldn't have had to because you don't know what's been thrown away.
"For me, mentally, seeing the amount of rubbish there every day isn't great - it feels like we're living in a third-world country."
In an email to Mr Wakenell, a Norwich City Council officer stated bins weren't being collected due to fly-tipping in the area, preventing the bin crews from safely picking up the rubbish.
Housing association Clarion contacted Mr Wakenell confirming a community warden had cleared the fly-tip and advised the council should now be able to clear the rubbish.

Mr Wakenell added: "There are rats, faeces and even homeless people sleeping on the rubbish and the city council has done nothing to help.
"They've only put us all in a situation and condition which isn't acceptable to live in.
"It makes me wonder just how long they're going to leave it because it doesn't look like anything will be done soon."
