After the presents have been unwrapped and the Christmas turkey is eaten, some might be wondering how to spend their Boxing Day.
While others may be resting, it is one of the best days of the year to get out and about with family and friends.
From shopping to a stroll around a country estate, here are five things to do in Norfolk on Boxing Day.
1. Go for an icy plunge
Where: Mundesley and Cromer
North Norfolk remains the go-to destination for a Boxing Day swim where coastal communities gather to dip into the North Sea.
The Boxing Day dip will be returning in Mundesley this year with the swim taking place at 10am.
Mundesley Surf Lifesaving Club will be providing first aid for the swim and those braving the cold will take the plunge from the Lifeboat Station.
Those in Cromer can enjoy a festive dip from 10am and the event is raising money for Cromer Community Hospital and Friends.
2. Take advantage of Boxing Day Sales
Where: Everywhere
Boxing Day is expected to be bigger than ever this year as shops and stores across the country look to sell their Black Friday stock at low prices.
You can expect to find deals at high-street giants such as Sports Direct and Currys, as well as online retailers including ASOS and Boohoo.
Some shops do close on Boxing Day to give their staff a longer break so make sure to check your favourite store is open before leaving the house.
3. Visit a National Trust site
Where: Felbrigg Hall, Oxburgh Hall, Sheringham Park, Blickling Hall
A walk on Boxing Day is a long-honoured tradition best enjoyed with close friends and family.
There is no better place to go for a stroll than any of Norfolk's National Trust sites, including favourites such as Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park.
With acres and acres of woodland and country grounds to explore, don't miss the opportunity to unwind after all of the food and festivities of Christmas Day.
4. Visit Winter Wonderland
Where: Norfolk Showground
From rides to a real ice rink, there is plenty to enjoy at Winter Wonderland Norwich at the Norfolk Showground.
It is open from midday until 9pm on Boxing Day and rides include dodgems, the Sky Swing and a giant observation wheel.
Other highlights include a real ice rink and a real Christmas tree maze.
Entry tickets and attraction tickets can be bought via winterwonderlandnorwich.com.
5. Watch a festive show
Where: Various locations
From Dick Whittington to Sleeping Beauty, there are plenty of festive shows taking place across Norfolk on Boxing Day.
Tickets for most shows are limited but there are still seats available at theatres in the county.
Our reviewer described Sleeping Beauty at Norwich Theatre Royal, which runs until January 7, "as a must-see Christmas treat with talented performers and a refreshing panto story".
