There is a buzz in a Norwich shopping centre as signs have just gone up ahead of a major retailer launching there.
Flannels is opening in the former home of Sports Direct on the upper ground floor in the spring.
Flannels, founded in 1976, stocks luxury designer fashion for women, men and children with brands such as Gucci, Marc Jacobs and The North Face.

Paul McCarthy, general manager at Chantry Place, said: “Flannels is joining us in spring 2024, bringing the best of luxury and designer brands to Norwich.
"This is a huge milestone for us and will put Norwich firmly on the map for designer fashion and beauty.”

Flannels was fully acquired by the Frasers Group in 2017 and it has more than 50 stores across the UK, though this will be the first branch in Norfolk.
Sports Direct is also owned by the Frasers Group and it relocated to Frasers' new concept department store in Chantry Place in September 2023.
Elsewhere in the shopping centre, Monsoon and Accessorize have recently closed.
