The Department for Education has released the first primary school performance statistics since the pandemic.
The data shows how well primary schools are doing over various metrics including progression in reading, writing and maths.
Figures have revealed how well schools performed in the SATs exams this summer and also reflect progress made while children are at primary school.
One of the top-performing schools in Norfolk was Ashleigh Primary School and Nursery in Wymondham with 36pc of its students achieving higher than expected standards.
The school in Sheffield Road also achieved the highest score for maths in Norfolk with pupils at Beeston Primary School near Swaffham recording the best score for reading in the county.
Only four primary schools in Norfolk, Ashleigh Primary School, Great Witchingham, St Francis of Assisi and Bure Valley School, achieved above-average scores in reading, writing and maths.
Department for Education chiefs warned that school performance data should be used with caution given the ongoing impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, which affected individual schools and pupils differently.
They urged that performance data should be looked at alongside other information such as Ofsted reports and speaking to the school directly.
