Folk waking up on Christmas Day were given a rude awakening after spotting "disgusting" graffiti spray painted on a block of flats and a vandalised mobility scooter.
The vandalism, which happened outside a building in Wilberforce Road, has neighbours not wanting to walk past while they wait for it to be cleaned.
Tom Cannon, who lives in the building, said: "I think it happened either late at night on Christmas Eve or the early hours of Christmas Day morning.
"It's on the side of the building, where there's a block of flats, which me and my partner live in.
"I love living here so it's not nice to walk past and I've stopped going that way because it's disgusting.
"Half of the graffiti was initially painted over, on the wall, but there's also a mobility scooter which has been vandalised too.

"My partner called and reported it to the police on Christmas Day."
A police spokeswoman confirmed the incident was being investigated, saying: “Police received a report of criminal damage on Christmas Day.
“The incident occurred between 10pm on December 24 and 9am on December 25, when a property in Wilberforce Road had been spray painted.”
