A popular pizza joint and music venue has found a new home in a busy city centre location. 

Voodoo Daddy’s has thrown open the doors to its new home in London Street, launching next door to partner business Gonzo's Tea Room.

The venue's showroom in Timberhill closed on December 23 as it prepared to move the bar to the new location.

Voodoo Daddy's specialises in cocktails and pizza while serving up a variety of other drinks and food.

A spokesman for the business said: "We're really happy to be bringing some of the best music, comedy, drag and Voodoo vibe to our new home in London Street.

"Expect tasty pizzas, a great regional beer selection, free retro arcade games and of course - free Guitar Hero."

Owner Mike Baxter - who runs Voodoo Daddy's, Brix and Bones and Gonzo's Tea Room with brother Brad - also hosts live music in his venues and takes part in the annual Wild Paths festival.

The London Street premises was previously a Betfred betting shop which closed in late 2021.
