A woman has died after collapsing at the entrance of a city centre car park.
The woman was found by car park staff lying unconscious at the walkway entrance to the NCP Car Park in Queens Road on Thursday afternoon.
Five crews from the East of England Ambulance Service attended the scene but despite the best efforts of all involved, the woman died at the scene.
An NCP employee, who was at the scene, said: "It happened around 2.43pm.
"A first responder arrived shortly after and told everyone to clear out before three ambulances turned up about five minutes later.
"We helped clear the area and shut off the entrance and exit pathway until the emergency services left around 4pm."
Police were also in attendance at the incident.
