The owner of a new coffee shop in the Norwich Lanes is bringing the community together with a city-wide competition.
Giles Hayward-Smith opened Buffalo Coffee Brewers at 36a St Benedicts Street in October 2023 and it has proved popular.
He has now launched a competition to find the city's best barista, sponsored by Minor Figures and Square Mile Coffee Roasters who will provide the prizes.

There are 12 competitors signed up and the contest will take place in the coffee shop on Friday, January 26, with some space for spectators.
There will be three rounds, including tastings to guess the origin country of coffee and latte art, with free vegan Redwell beer and Brick pizza provided on the night.

"I wanted to bring back a smackdown latte art competition to Norwich and I hope it will be an annual event."
