A visually impaired man says he has "got nothing left" after tools once owned by his late father were stolen while he was at a hospital appointment.
Ian Banstead moved to Boundary Road in Hellesdon from Attleborough on December 14 but came home last week to find his woodturning tools stolen from his garage.
The loss - around £1,500 worth - has left Mr Banstead "with nothing".
Mr Banstead suffers from cancer of the rectum and requires kidney bags, which need to be changed every three or four months.
He came back from his latest appointment to find his tools gone, with thieves having rummaged through drawers and found his garage keys, only taking minor items for the house.

The 59-year-old said: "I went out Thursday morning to the hospital and forgot to lock my back door.
"I came back about 3pm and when I went to put some washing in the machine - which is in the garage - I then realised everything was gone.
"All my woodturning tools, most of which were my late father's, were gone - like hammers, drills, saws, circular blades, a sanding machine and finished woodturning items.
"Frankly it’s destroyed me - I’ve got nothing left.
"I'm so upset because with all the issues I have had to deal with, woodturning kept me going and gave me something to do, but now I don't think that I’ll be able to afford to replace it all."
Norfolk Police confirmed it received a report relating to items being taken from a garage between January 7 and January 11.

Mr Banstead added the incident has affected his overall health, saying: "I’m not sleeping or eating properly because of what’s happened.
"Why would someone take something like this? A woodturner is no good to anybody really so it makes no sense.
"Sometimes I wish I hadn’t moved at all, as it’s all gone wrong."
