A bakery, chocolatier and ice-cream shop in the city centre has announced its closure.
Harris and James is a Beccles-based cafe chain that expanded to open shops in Norwich and Holt in 2021.
The business first launched in 2015 but became particularly popular during the lockdowns when sweet-toothed customers would knock on the doors asking them to open.
The commercial manager had said at the time that the Norwich and Holt expansions were intended to cater to the post-pandemic rush of interest.
The chain gained national recognition in June when the Guardian named it one of the best places in the UK to get ice cream or gelato.

But it has now announced the closure of its Norwich branch in Haymarket and the removal process is under way.
It is understood that it will be replaced by a pizzeria which will also serve Harris and James' gelato.
Harris and James' menu can still be enjoyed at its other venues in Cromer, Holt, Sheringham, Aldeburgh, Southwold and Beccles.
