Plans have been lodged for a block of flats to be built between a bingo hall and supermarket in a city suburb.
The proposals would see a vacant warehouse next to Mecca Bingo and Lidl in Aylsham Road in Mile Cross demolished to make way for a three-storey townhouse.
The block would consist of three single-bedroom flats.

According to planning documents, the ground-floor flat would have a small courtyard garden to the front, while the first and second-floor apartments would have a small roof garden with associated storage and a small Juliet balcony to the rear.
The scheme would be a car-free development and only facilitate a secure bicycle storage area.

A planning statement to Norwich City Council states: "This is a well considered, discrete, scheme which acknowledges the local context with a contemporary finish.
"The area is well served with retail and leisure facilities, with several supermarkets, takeaways, a library and sports facilities within easy walking distance.
"There is easy access to public transport and car hire, and the provision of secure cycle storage to negate the use of private vehicle ownership."
