The latest cast announcement has been made for a hit West End musical heading to the city on its UK tour.
Liam Fox will star as Grandpa Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal from September 24 to 29 2024.
He is best known for playing the role of Dan Spencer in ITV’s Emmerdale, where he featured in more than a thousand episodes.

He will join previously announced actor Adam Garcia as Caractacus Potts, whose many musical theatre credits include Saturday Night Fever and Kiss Me, Kate.
His film credits include Coyote Ugly and Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express.
Based on Ian Fleming’s timeless story for children and later made into the famous 1968 film, the musical features songs by the Sherman Brothers including Toot Sweets, Hushabye Mountain, Truly Scrumptious and the title song Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

In the show, absent-minded inventor Caractacus Potts restores a broken-down racing car with the help of his children Jemima and Jeremy.
Soon the family discovers that the car has magical powers and, along with Truly Scrumptious, they go on an adventure to faraway lands.
