A Neighbours star will swap Erinsborough for East Anglia when he heads to a city venue later this year.

Toad On The Road - An Evening with Ryan Moloney from Neighbours is coming to the Norwich Theatre Playhouse on an upcoming UK tour.

The actor has played Toadie Rebecchi in the Australian soap since 1995 he will be in Norwich on Monday, September 9 2024.

Despite the soap's final episode airing in July 2022, in November that year Amazon Freevee and Fremantle agreed to a deal that would restart the series.

It returned to screens in September 2023 with Moloney's character making a comeback.

With multiple weddings, a huge extended family, a controversial baby lie, wrestling and more, Toadie has been at the heart of the soap for almost three decades.

On his upcoming solo tour dates, Maloney will look back on all of Toadie’s biggest stories and reveal behind-the-scenes secrets.

There will also be a Q&A and meet and greet opportunities  - tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 23 at norwichtheatre.org
