After treating more than 50,000 animals over a 30 year period, a city veterinary is set to hold a celebration to mark the milestone.
Taverham Vets was founded in 1994 at Roger Bannock and his sister, Joy Thompson’s childhood home, in Fakenham Road.
With the pair still working at Taverham Vets today it now employs more than 100 staff with three branches across Taverham, Costessey and Aylsham.
Roger Bannock, who will be celebrating the milestone on March 21 at the Taverham branch, said: "When I started the business it was just me, my sister as practice manager and one nurse – Louise Feltham.

"I feel really proud of what we've achieved from humble beginnings to where we are today.
"I’ve been in practice 36 years and the variety keeps things interesting and the job is still so rewarding."
To mark the occasion next month there will be a colouring competition for children, with a special prize up for grabs, as well as including a photo booth and cake on the day.
Clinical director, Tom Robertson, added: "We have an incredibly loyal, dedicated and highly skilled group of staff - many of which like myself have worked at Taverham for many years.

"A substantial number of the original staff members, who were present when the practice first opened its doors, are still working here today."
Taverham branch's expansion has been five years in the making costing roughly £1.5m it represents a big financial commitment from the business which is looking to provide the most up-to-date and advanced veterinary care for pets in Norwich.
Certain improvements thanks to the influx of cash include a CT scanner, a purpose-built isolation ward, two new theatres and a dedicated dental suite.
