A new car rental service is set to open in a city suburb.
Plans have been lodged for the expansion of Eaton Hand Car Wash to provide an "in-demand" service for locals.
The application has been submitted in the hopes that the car rental service will also attract more customers to the existing car wash.
The owner of the site said the current setup is "not cost-effective" for the small business that only occupies half of the property.

The plans include a new office building and car storage area and the business is set to create six new jobs.
Eaton Hand Car Wash saw its bid for an 18-space car park rejected in 2020 after an initial attempt to fill the vacant space onsite.
The application was opposed by the Eaton Rise Residents Association and Judith Lubbock, Liberal Democrat city councillor for Eaton.
It was rejected for being against the council’s policies, but also because it would be "harmful to the visual amenity and public enjoyment" of nearby Danby Park.
Norwich City Council will make a decision on the application in due course.
