More than 150 pupils took part in the F1 in Schools East Anglia Regional Final on February 15.
Students formed teams of three-six to compete for a place on the F1 in Schools podium.
The top teams from the competition will now progress to the Lenovo F1 in Schools 2024 UK National Finals in March.
Winning teams came from Norwich and Huntingdon-based schools while technology giant Lenovo played the role of the title sponsor.
UK project manager for F1 in Schools, Tom Milner said: “This year’s East Anglia Regional Final was truly fantastic.
"With primary and secondary students showcasing their skills in everything from design and engineering through to marketing and sponsorship, it was brilliant to see their enthusiasm shine through as they took part in the different elements of the competition.
"We can't wait to see how the winning teams perform at the National Finals in March."
Real Velocidad from Sprowston Community Academy and Fast Trax from Notre Dame High School clinched first and second places respectively in the Professional Class.
Development Class honours went to Blue Mercury Racing from Kimbolton School and MHTB Motor Sports from Notre Dame High School, finishing first and second respectively.
If these intrepid youngsters come out on top at the national finals, they stand the chance to feature at the Aramco F1 in Schools World Finals.
This event runs parallel to an international F1 Grand Prix and has the potential to gift them a full scholarship to study Mechanical Engineering at Aston University.
The National Finals at Magna Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham, will also be graced by Primary teams Cyber Falcons from Sprowston Junior School, Fast and Furious Falconeers from Falcon Junior School, and Bolt Action also from Sprowston Junior School, who came first, second, and third respectively.
