A man has been charged following a string of thefts in the city centre.
Between Christmas Day last year and this Monday four thefts were reported, including two bicycles from Tombland and items including meat and deodorant from two shops in Norwich.

Jamie McNeilly, aged 44 and of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of theft from a shop, two counts of pedal cycle theft and assault by beating.
He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today.
